What happens after your designer leaves your home?  Take a journey  with Bruce Bernstein owner of Sunshine Drapery through Sunshine’s workroom.  Learn how our workroom makes Sunshine a unique company in St. Louis.

Bruce will introduce us to Keith who makes custom  Bay window treatments in our wood shop.  Did you know we can repair blinds and shades?  We have our own department that makes cellular shades, and also repairs all types of shades and blinds. You will love taking this tour through our workroom. We are a unique company in the area where we make and produce many of the window treatments you use at your home.

Eco Friendly Blinds

If you are a typical homeowner, you are probably concerned with saving money and conserving energy and with some considerations; both can be done at the same time. With the right window treatments, it is possible to keep cool air trapped inside during the summer, block out harmful UV rays from the sun, and keep out the cold and drafty winds in the winter. Even though many manufacturing companies will include the words “eco-friendly” on the label, how does a consumer truly know if the products are in fact, what they are represented to be?

A great option for an eco-friendly addition to windows is bamboo Roman shades and blinds. Roman shades are flat panels of material that fold in an accordion style and it can fit inside or outside of the window frame. Bamboo is a great choice for home décor, because it has an all-natural appearance and it is very versatile and sturdily made. Bamboo window blinds can be raised or lowered to allow for varying levels of light into the room.

Free Installation For the Month of March

For the month of March and only the second time in the history of Sunshine Drapery, we are offering free installation on all drapery orders.  Whether its panels or any type of valance, there are no hanging charges during the month of March.  We did this last year at the same time to give the Missouri and Illinois customers an opportunity to purchase beautiful custom draperies and save  money.  The response was great and it was a win win situation for everyone.  Customers were happy and it perked business up after a slow early start.
