The Garvin Group is an industry certified drapery and blind cleaning company that has served residential and commercial customers since 1994 with professional high quality cleaning services. We offer both on-site and in plant drapery cleaning services.

The on-site drapery service offers consumers the opportunity to have their window treatments conveniently cleaned in their homes or offices while preserving privacy that is ordinarily relinquished when drapes are taken off-site to be cleaned at a plant. Additionally, the cleaning results between on-site and in-plant cleaning are identical. We often clean swags and valances on site and clean drapery and sheer panels off site with no difference in the appearance between the methods. On-site cleaning involves the extraction of soils from the window treatment much like a carpet cleaner cleans upholstery. We use a dry cleaning solvent on most window treatments, however hot water is used to clean items like fabric blinds such as pleated shades, honeycomb shades, silhouettes, and luminettes from Hunter Douglas.

Virtually any type of window treatment can be cleaned on-site, however the vast majority of items that are cleaned in home are swags, valances, cornices, pleated shades, honeycomb shades, silhouettes, luminettes, vignettes, and roman shades. These window treatments can be left in place at the window and conveniently cleaned.

In-Plant Cleaning

With in-plant cleaning, we offer pick-up and delivery as well as rehanging for a nominal charge. We also offer convenient drop off and pick up at our Sunshine locations that allows the customer to save 20% off orders over $160.00. Locations are as follows:

Shrinkage

Shrinkage is the most common concern regarding drapery cleaning. While we exercise the utmost care to avoid shrinkage, we can only guarantee that no shrinkage will occur using our on-site process. In plant cleaning has a higher susceptibility to causing shrinkage. The nature of the fabric, age, and exposure to elements such as smoke, sunlight, or carbon filtration determines the level of cleaning success and potential change from its original state you can expect.
