Hunter Douglas continues to be on the cutting edge of window treatments. This spring they introduced their newPlatinum Appto operate theirPowerRise 2.1andPowerGlide 2.1window coverings. Customers with motorized treatments, this App anda Platinum App Bridge kitcancontrol their treatmentswith the use ofaniPad, iPhone or iPod touch.(Although the technology is currently only available for Apple products, Hunter Douglas is working on developing an android compatible product, too). There are four ways touseyour new Platinum App window technology

Individual Control– Each motorized window treatment can be individually controlled with a slide bar. Hunter’s sheer products (Silhouette, Luminette, Pirouette, Nantucket) will have two slide bars – one for opening and closing and the other for moving the vanes.
Scene Operation– This App can control your home’s environment in ways that are uniquely your own. Do you have “sun issues” during the summer? Organize your shades to close on the west side of the house and open wide on the east side and label it “Summer Afternoon.” Create a “Nighttime” setting where all blinds/shades are closed.
Room Operation– All the shades in any given room can be operated as a unit.
Timed Operation– Using the Platinum App technology, you can automatically operate your treatments. The timer can be programmed with different settings for every day of the week and your mobile device does not have to be present for timed operation. All programming is stored in the Platinum App Bridge.
