Every few months its a good idea to take a stroll around your home. Take stock of all of the little “fix it projects” that you might stumble upon. Windows in a home take up almost as much square footage as the floor and deserve as much if not more attention.
Windows are at eye level for the most part and a focal point. They are the first “thing” we seen when entering a space. Nothing says I need more help than a broken window treatment.

Color and Window Treatments

As a decorator, when I visit a home, I can be inspired by many things. It could be a piece of artwork, a beautiful area rug, or even an upholstery piece. These items can “set the tone” for color palates, fabric selections, and the style of the drapery project. My goal is to create the perfect design so the pattern and color enhance the room but do not interrupt the beautiful views. Window treatments can make strong color and pattern statements or totally recede into the wall so views and furnishings make decorating statements. Every home is different and presents a fun challenge in my profession.

Shutters have a very clean look that compliment well any modern, classic or contemporary home in the most distinguishable style.
