Layer Your Window Treatments
For increased style and energy efficiency, layer two or more window treatments. Some designs have up to three layers. The first layer usually consists of sheers, blinds or shades. Drapery panels are the second layer, while the optional third layer is comprised of a valance, upholstered cornice or swag/scarf. However, much depends on the way the window works in a room and the decor style.
Increased Energy Efficiency
Cellular blinds are a stylish way to control light, reduce energy costs and create privacy. Paired with curtains that accentuate the height of a room or visually increase a window’s size, the cellular blinds provide a utilitarian need while remaining an equally stylish backdrop to your curtains.
