Jason and Taira Price recognized the vision that Sunshine Draperies, Blinds, Shades & Shutters encapsulated and wanted to be part of that ongoing legacy, so in July 2025, they decided to invest in becoming the next chapter of the Sunshine story as new leaders.
For Jason and Taira, the journey to Sunshine was a personal move. As St. Louis natives, they’ve always admired local businesses that are built on strong values and a commitment to their community. When they were introduced to Sunshine, they were immediately impressed by the phenomenal culture and business model that the business had accrued over the past 56 years. They saw a dedicated team of professionals who were truly passionate about their craft and a company with a stellar reputation. They knew right away that this was a legacy worth continuing.
They are builders at heart. Taira provides interior design expertise and enjoys helping Sunshine clients through their new window treatment process. Throughout Jason’s career, from commercial construction to leading the family business, he’s focused on growing companies and creating opportunities. The experience they bring to Sunshine will help move the company forward and allows them to work directly with our talented team to build on our success.
