Color Trend of the Year
Pantone announces the color of the year for 2017 to be Greenery. This shade of green is a light yellowish-green to symbolize the beginning of spring when everything is emerging outside. The other colors to coordinate with it are immense. Since Greenery is claimed to be nature’s neutral palette, you can mix other shades of greens, blues, bright colors of any type and demure light colors as well.
Butterflies are Back

The Faux Products
Faux products are all the rage this year. Many faux finishes actually excel over the real products in durability and are less expensive to start. Engineered quartz is a better choice in kitchens as it can withstand more heat and acidic foods than marble. Faux flooring can achieve the trendy gray color in flooring that is more expensive due to the time involved in coloring it. You will also see a return of faux leather on counters, bars and faux foliage throughout a home.
